A good company relies on good employees to be successful. Your business is nothing without the right employees to provide the expertise, service and dedication to power your enterprise. Finding those people is a challenge and an opportunity. However, keep in mind, to find excellent employees, you must be an excellent place to work. Become an employer of choice by looking at your employee practices for retention, motivation, accountability, reward, recognition, flexibility in work-life balance, promotion, and involvement.

To recruit good employees, establish a relationship with area college Career Services departments. The Career Services office at Salisbury University offers many opportunities to employers for recruitment and hiring and holds Job Fairs throughout the year. Wor-Wic Community College Career Services sponsors a Career/Job Fair every year.

In addition to area colleges, the American Job Center in Salisbury offers employers many opportunities to assist them in filling job openings and the Maryland Workforce Exchange has many services for employers.
